This site showcases galleries of selected photographs from Frederick Savoye.

Frederick is an amateur landscape and nature photographer. A self-taught photographer, Frederick primarily finds inspiration in the magnificient landscapes of the Pacific Northwest while continously learning from masters such as Ansel Adams, Art Wolfe, David Muench, Jim Brandenburg, Jack Dykinga and many others.

Frederick lives with his wife and his son, in Woodinville, Washington. Even with limited time, the Seattle area offers a wealth of places to enjoy nature and true wilderness with the Olympic, Mount Rainier, North Cascades and Mount Saint Helens National Parks, and a multitude of state parks. Frederick's upcoming projects include traveling to Alaska and the Inside Passage, the Southwest and the US and Canadian Rockies as soon as time permits; and longer term, Patagonia, the Andes, Asia and Africa.

Frederick grew up in Paris, France and moved to the Seattle area in the mid 90s. He immediately developed a love for the outdoors and a need to share and preserve the surrounding beauty and his experiences with as many possible. His French origins and his growing Northwestern roots are behind the name American Frog Photography.

Most photographs on this site are for sale, please contact Frederick for information.
